I shaved my head today. My hair started falling out in earnest a couple of days ago so today it got buzzed. And, well, Sinead O’Connor I’m not but at least my head isn’t ugly (at least I don’t think so and that’s really all that matters at this point). My kids didn’t freak out when they saw me. And my husband thinks I look like a rock star. So, all in all, it’s been a good day.
Going for bloodwork tomorrow to make sure my white blood cell count is high enough so I can have chemo on Monday. Have an appointment Dr. Gelmon tomorrow morning too. Will let you know if anything comes up.
Haven’t been feeling great the past couple of days. My port-a-cath has been hurting for some reason and my teeth and scalp hurt a bit. Hopefully it will pass soon.
